First National Bank of Omaha (Beatrice branch) is great! Everyone with whom I have interacted there is always friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Furthermore, Heath Stewart (commercial/ag lending) is in a league of his own when it comes to commercial banking. He has prior education and experience as an attorney and understands taxes, legal structure implications, and other pitfalls that businesses and farms/ranches encounter. Not only that, but he's from a farming family from just over by Fairbury, so the vitality of local businesses - and particularly local agriculture - is near and dear to his heart. He looks out for the best interests of his customers and is so down-to-earth that you almost can forget that he's a banker...and an attorney!
