When we expressed our displeasure to the owner, they did offer a percentage discount. I will also say lovely greens were included in the arrangement and it was of a substantial size. A simple call to let us know that the order could not be completed as agreed would have taken care of the situation. But using flowers that were specifically requested not to be used? What happens where you are not around to see what you order?

I was very disappointed in the flowers for my aunt's funeral today. I understand it was over a holiday. However, I specifically asked for no gladioli and for pink flowers. Blossom Khart called me back and said they were using most of their pink flowers for the family's arrangements. I understand that. The man who called said they would substitute white flowers. I said that was fine. When we got to the funeral, there weren't very many flowers, but we couldn't find ours. After the funeral, we looked for them. Turned out our flowers were mostly orange and there were a lot of gladioli. Obviously not what we had expected. If Blossom Khart had let me know what they were doing, I could have made other arrangements or told them what they had was ok. I did not have this opportunity. When I called to express my disappointment, the owner became very defensive. In short, this was not the desired result for the funeral of my aunt and a popular member of the Beatrice community

Every floral arrangement from Blossom Khardt has been absolutely beautiful! I appreciate their unique and creative design. The flower choices are amazing and stay fresh for a long time. Our family ordered flowers for our Aunt's funeral and unfortunately, we were sadly disappointed with the arrangement. Our Aunt was a vibrant woman and well known in the Beatrice community. As we all live some distance away, we had to rely on the communication that was given over the telephone by the florist regarding our request for the arrangement. Our request was quite specific that NO gladioli be used in the arrangement and we wanted pink as a predominant color. The florist advised that due to the holiday (4th of July) they were short on stock (understandable) but would utilize white and pink. We were in agreement. After the funeral we went to look at the flowers and learned that our arrangement was made up of many large peach/orange colored glads/tulips, etc along with some harsh reddish pink gerbers, I actually shed more tears! This, was not what we had envisioned to honor our very lovely aunt. Above all, it was NOT what was ordered. The florist, as a good and responsible business person should have called and advised they could not honor the order. We are very easy to please and could have probably worked through something else or had the option to take our order elsewhere.
