I have a rescue chug that means more to me than many of my friends. I will never take her to another vet no matter how long I have to drive.
Although Bob is a very kind and likable vet, his receptionist leaves something to be desired. Obviously, she has forgotten what customer service means. It is not being condescending and treating your customer like an idiot. It is finding a solution to the problem. Had she chosen her words differently, instead of the "I am right even when I am wrong" attitude, then maybe I wouldn't have to rethink options. Like I said, Bob is great with the animals, but the owners' pay for the service, so his staff need to be great with them. If I was just grading Bob it would have been a five star, but since his receptionist is a one star, I had to settle in the middle.
I gotta tell you that Dr. Bob is about the best vet I have ever found. I love the office staff and wouldn't trust my best buddy to anyone else. Considering I drive from Omaha an hour and a half each way it says something for this place.
Doctor Bob is the best and the staff is not only knowledgeable but, they are FUN! It's the place to go...and I will continue the drive.
They were so wonderful to us as we faced having to say good bye to a much beloved pet.
